We want you to know that Sklar Law remains fully operational and 100% remote. We kindly ask that, at this time, you do not visit our office but rather connect with us online. All of our services continue uninterrupted and, in particular, we make note of the following:
REAL ESTATE: All real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and closings are being conducted online. You will receive instructions to execute and deliver all digital documents, and how to confirm wire instructions. We are coordinating wet signature documents via prepaid FedEx envelopes. If you have any questions at all, please give us a call or email us.
BUSINESS & CORPORATE MATTERS: We are handling all business and corporate matters remotely. The State Departments of Florida and Delaware are 100% operational, though albeit with some delays. Please add 1-5 business days to regular filings. The State of Florida has extended all annual business filings and we will be circulating reminders closer to the new due date. Finally, we have implemented a set of digital tools so that negotiations, agreements, and settlements will be executed digitally and remotely. Please call or email us with any specific questions.
AIRCRAFT TRANSACTIONS: All aircraft acquisitions, dispositions, and closings are being conducted online. The FAA Aircraft Registration Branch is accepting online notarized documents via email. We have not seen a significant delay in processing. Similarly, all closings are being done remotely. Please call or email us with any specific questions.
